The Tiger Brands Foundation was proud to partner with Department of Basic Education NSNP, Tiger Brands CSI Division and Nestle to celebrate National Nutrition Week 2011. The primary focus of the campaign is to promote the well-being of all learners through good nutrition, education and exercise.
A fun-filled day held at Modimolle Primary School in Limpopo on 14 October 2011 marked an important milestone in school feeding initiatives; the collaboration of government and corporate partners proved highly successful.
Three schools in Modimolle were invited to participate in various activities followed by the distribution of healthy, tasty lunch packs. 4000 energetic children approached the games and activities with enthusiasm; later sitting together in groups sharing their lunch packs.
