The Tiger Brands Foundation recognises the significance of partnerships to create a collective pool of funding and resources to strengthen the work undertaken by established projects with similar goals and objectives. A partnership serves to complement both the Foundation and partnering body/organisation through mutually agreed project deliverables and outcomes.
Breakfast programmes provide an incentive for a child to attend and stay in school, improves overall health and influences school achievements contributing to the ‘whole school development plan’. The impact of malnutrition is substantial and these programmes are pivotal in the development of children to break the cycle of poverty and high levels of illiteracy.
